All the images used on the website are for academic purposes only. No one is permitted to download, copy, reuse, share any of the images in any form or manner known or yet to be known for any purpose without prior permission from the Centre for Studies in Social Sciences, Calcutta.

The Hitesranjan Sanyal collection of photographs has been made available for public access through the OH-31 programme of the ICSSR. High resolution images may be requested online or on-site on the following terms and conditions.

1. The material will not be available for any commercial use.

2. The copyright of this material remains with Mrs. Manaswita Sanyal and family. For any academic publications, prior permission of the copyright holder is mandatory. The archivist will help and guide the scholar in this regard.

3. The reproduction charges are as follow:
For low-resolution reproduction (72 dpi jpeg), a charge of Rs. 500 is to be paid for 10 images and part thereof.
For low-resolution (72 dpi jpeg), a charge of Rs. 1000 is to be paid for 30 images.
For high-resolution reproduction (600 dpi Tiff), a charge of Rs. 1000 per image is to be paid.

Payment can be made in cash or through bank transfer.
